On Nov 2nd Georgia Elected Republican Nathan Deal as their new governor with 1,341,589 votes which was 53% of the votes making the majority. The House of Representative Elected in georgia was Republican Jack Kingston with 1,462,832 votes with the majority of 58%. America now has 239 republicans in the House of Representatives out of 435 in the House winning the majority. The senate has 51 Democrats out of a hundred having the majority in the Senate. America has balance between the amount of Democrats and Republicans in power. Now that power is not one sided, America can work together once again.
Now that power is divided law making will not be one sided. Both parties now have a say in what laws to pass and what laws not to pass. Laws and decisions will fit regulations of both parties hoping Democrats and Republicans will both agree with each other allowing America to move on and function better without getting stopped on an argument or conflict.

Great summary Mr. Thiel! Do you think there will be a gridlock in policy making and they won't get anything accomplished?
ReplyDeleteBy the numbers alone, any significant bill passage will be at a stand still, but something real screwy is going on, and I am strongly counting on Tea Party/GOP fallout mixed with Democratic compromise to create a level of moderation that will get some sound decisions made on behalf of the American people.
ReplyDeleteVery good synopsis. I do hope that both political parties can truly work together, and move the party forward. However, history shows a different picture. I really hope that history doesn't repeat itself.
